'Breakfast with Fridge' Slated for Wednesday, Oct. 19

COLLEGE PARK. Md. - "Breakfast with Fridge," the popular meeting between Maryland's head football coach and fans of his team, will take place at a special time for next week's huge conference matchup with third-ranked Virginia Tech. Head coach Ralph Friedgen will host his weekly breakfast on Wednesday, Oct. 19, for the Thursday night game.

Terrapin fans will have the opportunity to get up-close and personal with Ralph Friedgen for morning breakfast and "chalk-talk" at the University Inn & Conference Center in College Park. "Breakfast with Fridge" is normally held each Friday morning before home football games (but, as stated, will take place on Wednesday next week). Doors open at 7:00 a.m. and Coach Friedgen will address the group from 7:30 a.m. - approximately 8:30 a.m.
There is no cost to attend and a continental breakfast will be provided free of charge. Promotional items from the Maryland Sports Marketing Department will also be available.
The Inn & Conference Center is located at 3501 University Blvd. East, on the corner of Adelphi Road and University Blvd. Parking is available at the Conference Center Parking Garage. Note: Parking is available in the garage adjacent to the Inn & Conference Center for $1.00 per hour. Please do not park in Lot 1 as it is designated for student parking and subject to ticketing.
