LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Shay Doron scored 16 of her 23 points in the first half, leading No. 14 Maryland to a 107-66 win over Siena on Friday night.
Doron was one of six players in double digits for the Terrapins (1-0), who shot 67 percent from the field in their highest scoring game since a 107-51 victory over Towson State on Nov. 30, 1991.
Kristi Toliver and Marissa Coleman each added 16 points, Crystal Langhorne had 13 and Laura Harper and Ashleigh Newman 11 apiece.
Siena (0-1) was held to 38 percent shooting (22-of-58). Katelyn Dooley led the Saints with 21 points, Laura Menty added 16 points and Lauren Surber 15.
Maryland, with four returning starters from last year's 22-10 team, outrebounded the Saints 42-20.
