COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The top-seeded Maryland men's soccer team will open NCAA Tournament play at Ludwig Field on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. against Brown. The Terps and Bears are meeting for the first time on the soccer pitch.

GameTracker (www.umterps.com) will be available for Tuesday's game and live audio will be broadcast on wmucsports.com.

The Terrapins (15-4-1) enter the tournament as the overall No. 1 seed. Maryland will play at Ludwig Field for as long as it advances until the College Cup in Cary, N.C.

Over the past three seasons, Maryland is 8-0-1 at home in the NCAA Tournament. The tie came last season against Creighton and the Terps managed to advance on penalty kicks.

In their last outing, the Terps fell to eventual champion Duke, 4-2, in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament. The Blue Devils went on to out-last the Tar Heels in penalty kicks, 5-4.

Brown advanced out of the first round with a 2-1 overtime win over Rhode Island. The Bears were an at-large selection out of the Ivy League. The ACC is 1-1-0 this year against the Ivy League.

The winner of Tuesday's game will advance to play the winner of St. John's-Dartmouth.
