On the game
"I was extremely excited about the way we played coming back from the Virgin Islands. I thought we played a really hard fought game with a lot of intensity and effort. It's great to look through the box scores and see six players in double figures and three players with double-doubles."

On the play of Jade Perry
"Jade came ready to play from the tip. She was extremely aggressive. I think her rebounding is what sparked us. It's just a lot of fun to watch Jade play when she plays that aggressively. She's the strongest post player in the country. I know she worked hard this summer to help the team."

On Laura Harper
"Laura was extremely sore after three games in three days in the Virgin Islands. It was a smart move by her to voice the pain she's feeling so we could take this precautionary measure."

On the team's offensive potential
"We've known for a while about our firepower and the kind of weapons that we have, and I think a lot of people are seeing that for the first time. It's exciting to see how unselfish they're being. We're moving the ball and getting some great looks. Right now our concern is being able to defend against the top-notch teams."

On the possibility of a letdown after the Paradise Jam
"With this team, I wasn't worried about a letdown. This team has given us as a coaching staff a lot of confidence. They work competitively and I fully expected that they'd come out and play hard, because that's what they do every single day."

On underclassmen leadership
"It's exciting. The future is extremely bright. I love where we are with this team right now and how hard we're playing."

Maryland Forward Jade Perry
On the game
"I think that the whole team was just motivated to play. Coach told us that great teams come out and dominate games like this, and that is what we're trying to do. We feel like we're a great team."

On getting a lot of playing time
"I just tried to go out and get the job done. I just wanted to go out and step my game up after getting just one rebound against Tennessee."

On the team
"It's just been extremely fun. It's a pleasure to have the teammates that I have around me. It makes my job twenty times easier to be able to distribute to players who know how to finish."

On her assists
"It's really just second nature to me with these teammates. The way that they're finishing just makes me want to give them the ball, so I keep giving."

Maryland Guard/Forward Marissa Coleman
On the transition to college
"It's been about what I expected so far. I have great coaches and teammates around me to help. I'm coming into a great program. My teammates have helped me a lot during the game. Shay [Doron] and Crystal [Langhorne] keep telling me to keep my head up out there."

On scoring in double digits every game
"It's been kind of surprising, but I'm not focused on that. I'm just trying to do whatever I can to help my team win."
