On the game
"I thought that we played a tremendous game today, especially in the first half. We were able to get a lot of players in there and see a lot of different combinations. Shay [Doron] and Crystal [Langhorne] gave us big minutes as they always do. It's just good to see us keep getting better."

On goals for the Terrapin Invitational
"We came in wanting to focus defensively. We really challenged the team to get better in that regard, especially when it comes to our communication. We also wanted to take better care of the basketball. Our turnovers were reduced tonight but we still need to be more efficient out there."

On the upcoming ACC season
"We know what's lying ahead of us, we just have to keep getting sharper. We're just trying to fine tune everything at this point and get a lot of players a lot of minutes. We just need to stay ready in these next couple games before we get to the ACC season."

Maryland Guard Shay Doron
On the game
"It was good to see a lot of different lineups out on the court. We keep working to get better. We have to be able to stay intense for the whole game, because we should dominate other teams for a full 40 minutes when we come out here."

On her performance
"I was just getting a lot of open looks out there. Marissa [Coleman] and Ashleigh [Newman] were doing a great job at the guard positions, and their defense was keying on them. You can't key on anyone in our offense, so it was my night to step up and do the scoring."

On the opening scoring run
"We just came out of the gate very intense. We played some really great defense, and we were able to get down to our end and play some good offense too. We just need to maintain that sort of intensity."
