With the win, Maryland improves to 17-5 (6-4 ACC) on the year and 44-12 in the all-time series with Wake Forest.

Maryland extends its win streak to four games and improves to 16-0 when leading at the half.

Four players scored in double figures for the Terps tonight, and seven players scored at least six points ... Maryland is now 5-0 this season when four or more players score at least 10 points.

Maryland had its second fewest turnovers (11) of the season and had a positive turnover margin for just the second time in its last 11 games.

Wake Forest's Liz Strunk and Porsche Jones each scored 18 points tonight ... Maryland has allowed just one 20-point scorer in its last seven games.

Maryland, the top-shooting team in the ACC (46.2 percent) was 35-of-71 from the floor tonight, with six players shooting at least 50 percent.

Maryland point guard Anesia Smith narrowly missed a triple-double for the second time in three games, scoring eight points, with eight rebounds and 10 assists ... it was the senior's fifth career double-digit assist game (all coming this season).

Maryland's bench had one of its most productive nights of the season, outscoring the Demon Deacons' reserves by a 24-5 margin.

Ashleigh Newman scored 12 points, her second straight game in double figures ... the freshman has scored in double figures four times this season, with all four being part of back-to-back efforts.

Shay Doron, one of four Terrapins with at least seven rebounds tonight, tied a season-high with eight boards ... freshman forward Jade Perry scored a career-high 12 points and had her best rebounding effort in her last 10 games, pulling down seven rebounds.
