In her third season as head coach of the Maryland Terrapins Brenda Frese turned around a once-proud Maryland women's basketball program in just a few short seasons. The 2002 Associated Press Coach of the Year came to College Park and immediately went to work, signing three-straight top 10 recruiting classes, including the No. 2 class in the nation in 2003, while luring the No. 4 class in the nation in 2004. Frese has taken a program which went 10-18 in her first season and guided it to a top 20 ranking in 2004-05.

CAMP DATES
Team Camp
June 11 & 12
High school and AAU teams are invited to attend. This is a great opportunity to have your team play in one of the finest basketball arenas in the country. The Comcast Center offers five 94' air conditioned courts. Each team participating in Team Camp is guaranteed to play 6 regulation length games. Teams that register for the One Day Shoot Out can play a maximum of four games. Games will be played in Comcast Center (main court and auxiliary gym) with a minimum of one certified referee/court. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. For more information please call 301-314-1747.
Elite Individual Camp
June 21-24
Ages: 10-18
Cost: Overnight: $310
Commuter: $225
This camp is designed to get players ready for the next level. There will be a lot of intense work-outs on the court to go along with some great competitive games. A letter of recommendation from your coach is needed with your registration. Come and play against the best around.
Position Camp
June 24-26
Ages: 10-18
Cost: Overnight: $230
Commuter: $180
This is an excellent 3 days to come and work on your skills at your position. This camp will help show you how to develop the necessary skills to take home with you to keep improving your game. Start improving your weaknesses and continue to develop your strengths.
Individual Day Camp
July 11-14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ages: 7-18
Cost: $190 (includes lunch)
This is a great camp to come and work on your skills. You will be able to work on all your skills in the new Comcast Center. You will be working on ball handling, passing, shooting, defense and rebounding skills. There will also be many individual and team competitions for awards. What a great way to spend your day. Camp Staff will be available 1 1/2 hours before and after camp to accommodate work schedules.
Shooting & Free Throw Camp
Shooting: July 11 & 12 6-9 pm
Free Throw: July 13 6-9 pm
Ages: 7-18
Cost: Shooting Camp: $60 (you can register for one or both)
Free Throw Camp: $30
Come and work on your shot and learn new techniques and drills to help you develop a great outside shot. This camp focuses on form and technique. There will be different shooting contests throughout the clinic. Bring a friend and work on your shot and free throws. Limited space available, please sign up early.
Individual/Overnight Camp
July 26-29
August 7-10
Ages: 8-18
Cost: Overnight: $300
Commuter: $215
The Terrapin staff will be leading campers in developing individual skills. Campers will have an opportunity to work on many aspects including: ball handling, rebounding, offensive skills, and team play.
Parent/Daughter Clinic
August 6, 2-6 pm
Cost: $80/team
Mothers or fathers will team up with their daughters to work on individual skills and will participate in competitions. This clinic is designed to encourage parents to work with their daughters in developing their basketball skills. If you would like to bring more than one daughter the cost is an additional $15 per person. Limited space available, please sign up early.
Registration & Check -In Check-in information and directions will be sent out with confirmation letters. Registration forms need to be returned by June 1. Registrations received before May 1st will receive a free camp ball (excluding parent/daughter clinic and team camp). There is a limited amount of space available, please sign up early to guarantee your spot. Final payment for the camps are due one month prior to the camp start date. There will be a $25 late fee for payments not made on time. There will be a $20 charge for returned checks.

Comcast Center
The scene for the new era in Maryland Women's Basketball is the $125 million state-of-the-art Comcast Center, which opened its doors in October 2002. Equipped with 17,100 seats, luxury boxes, an eight sided scoreboard, team lockerrooms and lounge areas, five 94' air conditioned courts the 420,000 square-foot building is the central hub of Maryland athletics. This is also the site for the 2004 Maryland Women's Basketball Camps.
Housing/Meals
Overnight campers will be housed in one of our on-campus residence halls. Three meals a day will be served in the residence hall cafeteria. Commuter campers will receive lunch and dinner only. **Note: Linens and blankets are not provided.
Cancellation/Refunds
A $70 deposit is required with each camp registration. Refunds (minus a $20 administrative fee) will be given if a cancellation due to injury is accompanied by a physician's statement and is more than 2 weeks prior to camp. No refunds will be given to any camper sent home for disciplinary reasons.
Sibling Discount
Siblings attending the camps will each receive a 40% discount to the camp store to be used on any one product.
