
Pinto Eliminated At NCAA Wrestling Championships

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Maryland sophomore Charlie Pinto was eliminated from the NCAA Wrestling Tournament Frday after a loss to Ron Tarquinio of Pitt. Pinto lost to third-ranked and third-seeded Josh Churella of Michigan yesterday but defeated Northern Iowa's C.J. Ettelson, 4-1.
The 141-pounder finishes the season with a 26-11 record. The 2005 ACC champion was Maryland's lone representative at the NCAA Championships being held in St. Louis, Mo.
