COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The seventh-seeded Maryland women's basketball team will close out the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday evening , March 22, facing second-seeded Ohio State at Comcast Center. No. 13 seed Liberty and No. 5 DePaul tip-off at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available at 1-800-IM-A-TERP or on the internet at www.umterps.com.

Playing in the Philadelphia Region, the Terps (22-9) advance to the second round for the second-straight year after defeating UW-Green Bay, 65-55, in the first round. It is the first time since 1989 and 1990 Maryland has posted NCAA Tournament wins in back-to-back years.

The Buckeyes (29-4) advance after cruising to an 86-45 victory over Holy Cross. The team's last met in 1988 in the Sweet 16 in Athens, Ga. The Terps won, 81-66, to advance to the Elite Eight.

Liberty, who pulled off a big upset defeating fourth-seeded Penn State, 78-70, advances to the second round of the Chattanooga Regional. The Lady Flames, who picked up the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament will battle the Blue Demons for the right to advance to the Sweet 16.
