The No. 4 Maryland men's lacrosse team heads to sunny Florida for a Spring Break game vs. the Dartmouth Big Green at St. Andrews School in Boca Raton. Face-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22.
This will be the Terps' second trip to St. Andrews School in the last three seasons. Maryland defeated Butler, 18-9, in 2003.
Maryland is lead by the third-winningest coach in college lacrosse, Dave Cottle, now in his fourth year with Maryland, boasts a career record of 219-82 (.728). He is in his fourth season at the helm of the Terrapin program and has led the Terps to a 38-12 (.760) record.
The Big Green are coached by Bill Wilson, who is now in his second year at the helm of the Dartmouth program and has compiled a 10-5 record. Wilson is a '94 graduate of Loyola College, where he was a four-year letterwinner under head coach Dave Cottle. During Wilson's four seasons as a Greyhound, Cottle's crew advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals three times.
The last time Maryland and Dartmouth squared off was 1999 in College Park. The Terps won that game 9-4.
