Women's Hoops' Langhorne Named First Team All-ACC Tournament

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland women's basketball player Crystal Langhorne was voted first team All-ACC Tournament, which was announced at the conclusion of the title game on Monday night. The all-tournament teams are selected by members of the media.

Langhorne (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) averaged 19.3 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per game in helping the Terrapins reach the tournament semifinals for the second-straight year. She scored 24 points and had 16 rebounds in the Terps' first-round win vs. Clemson. She followed up with a 23-point, 16-rebound outing in the upset of No. 19/21 NC State in the quaterfinals, tying the two-game ACC Tournament rebounding record. After facing Duke in the semifinals, her three-game total of 37 boards were third-most in tournament history.

Langhorne has already been named ACC Rookie of the Year and second-team all-conference. She is the only player in the league to average a double-double, tallying 17.0 ppg and 10.5 rpg. She leads the ACC in rebounding and has also recorded a conference-high 16 double-doubles.

The NCAA will announce the Division I Championship pairings and seedings on Sunday, March 13 at 5 p.m. on ESPN. The University of Maryland is hosting the first and second rounds on Sunday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 22.
