Terp Men's Soccer Recruits Earn PARADE All-America Honors

May 24, 2005

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Two incoming men's soccer recruits, goalkeeper Chris Seitz and midfielder Robbie Rogers, were named to the PARADE All-America team recently. Coaches, scouts and recruiters across the country select candidates for the team every year. The final rosters are selected by a group of experts.

Seitz, who also made the team as a high school junior, was the Gatorade State Player of the Year in California. He is also a member of the U-18 national team. Rogers has played with the U-16, U-17 and U-18 national teams as well as the U-20 team pool.

The Terps finished the 2004 season with a third straight appearance in the College Cup. Maryland has added 11 members to the squad in 2005, and will play one of the toughest schedules in school history.
