The Maryland women's basketball team invites its fans to travel and support the team at the Paradise Jam tournament in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Nov. 22-27. The Terrapins will play three of the nation's top teams Nov. 24-26, including the 2005 NCAA runner-up Michigan State. Travel packages can be booked through Sports Travel International in Olney, Md.
The Terps, who are welcoming back four starters and the nation's No. 4-ranked recruiting class in the nation, will play Final Four participant Tennessee, the Spartans and WCC Conference Regular Season Champion Gonzaga in a round-robin format. The final schedule will be announced at a later date.
In addition, there will be another division with four teams playing two games each. Teams involved in that bracket include Minnesota, Virginia, Alabama and Nevada.
