Friedgen, Terps Featured on Radio and TV in the Next Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland head football coach Ralph Friedgen will be joining several local talk radio shows in the coming days as his Terrapins stand less than one week from the start of fall camp, 2005.

On Wednesday, Friedgen call in to the Rob Long Show on Baltimore's WNST, 1570 AM at 4:05 p.m. Later in the day, he will join Bram Weinstein on SportsTalk 980 AM (WTEM), calling the Maryland alum's show at 7:25 p.m.

On Thursday, Friedgen will join several out-of-town shows mid-day before making an appearance on the John Thompson Show at 3:30 p.m. on WTEM in D.C. Later in the day, special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Ray Rychleski is a guest on WNST's Jeremy Kahn Show at 7:05 p.m.

The Terrapins open camp on Monday, August 8, and will host their annual Media Day at Byrd Stadium before their first practice of '05 at 4:00 p.m. That evening, the Maryland College Football Preview by FoxSportsNet will air on stations across the country. Terp fans should check their local listings for air times (UMTerps.com will post updates with local times and channels if they become available).
