
How to Follow Maryland vs. Navy on Saturday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The season-opening football game between the University of Maryland Terrapins and the U.S. Naval Academy on Saturday, Sept. 3 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore will be available to fans via television, radio, internet and satellite radio.
Navy is designated as the home team for the contest and will present the pregame show, including the Brigade March (5:40 pm), National Anthem (5:55 pm), Fly Over (6:02 pm) and Coin Toss (6:04 pm). Navy will also produce its traditional home, game day program for fans to purchase on game day.
Maryland will present the halftime show, including a recognition of 1964 Maryland Football team members in attendance at the game. The Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band will perform for the crowd for the majority of halftime.
TELEVISION
The game will be telecast live by College Sports Television (CSTV). CSTV is available on a number of cable and satellite systems throughout the nation.
The telecast will be available to Comcast subscribers in a number of markets, including the Baltimore-Washington area, as part of an agreement reached Tuesday between CSTV and Comcast.
Comcast basic cable (non-digital) subscribers can watch the game on either CN8 (Baltimore and Philadelphia markets) or on NewsChannel 8 in the Washington, D.C., market.
Comcast digital subscribers in many areas have the additional option of viewing the game on Channel 274 (CSTV). The game will be part of a free weekend of CSTV programming for digital subscribers from 6:00 pm Friday through midnight Sunday.
The pregame show for the telecast begins at 5:30 p.m.
RADIO
Maryland-Navy will be the first game broadcast on the new Terrapin Sports Radio Network and its new flagship stations, WHFS 105.7 FM and ESPN 1300 AM in Baltimore.
Johnny Holliday, Jonathan Claiborne and Tim Strachan will provide all the game action.
The Terrapin Tailgate Show, Maryland's newly expanded radio pregame, begins at 4:30 p.m.
Terrapin Wrap-up, the newly expanded postgame show, also now runs for 90 minutes and fans are invited to call-in during the final 60 minutes of the postgame show. Fans can call 800-518-4012 to participate.
Tailgaters in Baltimore are invited to watch the live radio pregame show outside of Gate A at M&T Bank Stadium. The WHFS 105.7 FM van will be in the parking lots beginning at noon providing live remote broadcasts leading up to kickoff. Tune-in for updates throughout the day.
