COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland Terrapins will try to snap its two-game losing streak tonight at Ludwig Field at 7 p.m. against William & Mary. The Terps are also looking to avenge last season's 1-0 loss to the Tribe last season.

GameTracker and live audio are available for tonight's game.

Maryland has been held scoreless in each of its last two games. In all three losses this season, Maryland has been shutout. In each of Maryland's losses, the Terps have surrendered a goal within the first 10 minutes of the game.

Maryland is 4-0 this season at home, but just 1-3 on the road.

Two Terrapin milestones have been put on hold during Maryland's two-game skid. Head coach Sasho Cirovski's next win will be the 200th of his career. With his next goal, Jason Garey will be Maryland's all-time career leader in that category. He is currently tied with Cliff Krug (1958-60) with 45.

The Terrapins are facing a pair of teams this week that earned victories against Maryland last season. William & Mary stunned the Terps with a 1-0 overtime win in Williamsburg, Va., while Wake Forest (Friday night's opponent) downed Maryland 4-2 in Winston-Salem, N.C.

    The Week That Was
    • Maryland lost a pair of 1-0 decisions in similar fashion. Both Penn State and NC State scored goals in the second minute and were able to hold on the rest of the way as the Terps lost their second and third straight games on the road.
    • At Penn State, the Nittany Lions jumped on the scoreboard early after Christopher Ascherl got free on the right side and sent a cross to Simone Omekanda who headed the ball from the six for the score. Maryland controlled the midfield the rest of the way but could not connect in the final third.
    • At NC State, Aaron King did the damage early handling a long through ball El Hadj Cisse just past midfield. King raced the rest of the way and fired a shot past a diving Craig Salvati. Maryland held a 14-7 edge in shots, but had several good chances stuffed by the play of Jorge Gonzalez.

    Feast Or Famine
    • In each of Maryland's three losses, the Terps have been shut out. In the Terrapin wins, though, Maryland is averaging nearly four goals a game (3.80).
    • Similarly, at home, the Terps are averaging three goals a game. On the road, the Terps have been shut out in three out of four games.

    Home Sweet Home
    • The Terps have had remarkable success at Ludwig Field posting a 41-3-1 (.922) record in three plus seasons, including a perfect 13-0 mark in 2002.
    • That record also includes an 8-0-1 mark during the NCA A Tournament which has helped Maryland reach three straight College Cups. (The Terps advanced on penalty kicks, 5-4, after tying Creighton in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.)
    • Maryland won 23 straight games at home between 2002-03, the fourth-longest streak in NCAA history.
    • Maryland is 4-0-0 this season.
    • For the first time since the Terps started playing at Ludwig Field in 1995, Maryland averaged over 2,000 fans per game during the 2004 season.
    • Maryland's loyal student fan base is known as "The Crew."

Series History vs. William & Mary
    • The series between Maryland and William & Mary is tied at 3-3. The Terps had won three straight in the series before the Tribe upset the Terps 1-0 in overtime in Williamsburg, Va.
    • William & Mary's last win at Ludwig Field came in 1998, when the Tribe defeated Maryland by a 1-0 count. William & Mary was one of just three schools to defeat the Terps at home that season as Maryland advanced to the College Cup for the first time under Sasho Cirovski.
    • The Tribe are one of just four schools to defeat the Terps at Ludwig Field in the NCAA Tournament (a 3-0 William & Mary win in 1996).
