COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Register for the fourth annual Maryland Women's Basketball Coaches Clinic which takes place on Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Lectures will be held at the new Gossett Football Team House Auditorium followed by lunch. Afterwards, join Terrapin head coach Brenda Frese and her coaching staff for a practice session with the 2005-06 squad at the state-of-the-art Comcast Center.

The Terrapin women's basketball team is coming off its most successful season is recent years, going 22-10, the most wins in over a decade, while reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight year.

This clinic is for coaches from all levels of play, including high school and AAU. The day will begin with an instructional session and speakers, followed by lunch and a viewing of the Terrapins' practice. Tours of Comcast Center, one of the finest facilities in the country, will also be available. The speakers featured will be 28-year coaching veteran Linden E. Weese and Melissa McFerrin, a collegiate and professional coach for years and current head coach at American University.

The cost of the clinic is $40 per coach, $100 for a coaching staff of three and $120 for a coaching staff of four.
