Maryland Head Coach Brenda Frese
On the game
"I think you see as we go through that every game in the ACC is a battle. I'm really proud of the fact that we're in a place right now where we're really grinding things out. We're finding a way to step up and play with confidence."

On Georgia Tech:
"I think Georgia Tech is a tremendous team athletically. Getting on the glass really gave us some match up problems on the rebounding end. I'm proud of the fact that we really stepped up and hit some big free throws down the stretch. We're just going to continue to keep practicing and work on getting better."

On Crystal Langhorne's play:
"I thought Crystal did a great job stepping up in the second half. At halftime we thought we really needed to pick up our play. We were able to go to a smaller line up and spread the floor. We were able to get the ball inside, where she really caused some match up problems for us."

On this game, compared to the Virginia Tech game:
"It was more of a confidence booster. I don't need to rant and rave to make my message understood. We're going to get everyone's best game and we need to be able to keep up with it. I thought we did a better job in the second half keeping our poise and composure."

Maryland Junior Guard Shay Doron
On her own and Crystal Langhorne's play
"Crystal and I have been through this a lot; both of our shots were falling tonight. We do what we always do and that's score."

On Tennessee transfer Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood
"I think it's great. The deeper we get, the better we get. She played for one of the best teams in the country, so she can definitely play. She adds depth at the point guard position and it is going to make us a lot better."

Maryland Sophomore Forward/Center Crystal Langhorne
On rebounding
"We're one of the best rebounding teams in the country and they were getting a lot of offensive rebounds and rebounding is really about hustling."

Georgia Tech Head Coach MaChelle Joseph

On her team so far this season:
"I think we're better than our record. If you look at the way we're competing I think we can play with anyone in the league. We were the only team that could hold Duke to single digits. And when we came in here tonight I think we held our own. We have a lot of growth but I think we're going to get those wins."

On closing in on the 16- point deficit in the second half:
"That was a solid mark with freshman playing that whole time. To me, I get excited with that kind of play on the road against a top 10 team."

On her thoughts on the game:
"I was a little upset with our rebounding, but that's what we're trying to build this program on. I also thought on defense, we gave up 79 points while our goal was to only give up 65 points. However, Maryland showed to be a phenomenal offensive team."

On Chioma Nnamaka getting into foul trouble:
"It's really hard to play without her not only because she's our best three-point shooter, but someone who I consider to be the best three point shooter in the league. When we play without her, we don't have anyone who can shoot the ball quite like she can. But some of the younger players stepped up and got some good minutes."
