COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The 2006 national champion Maryland women's basketball team was honored during halftime of the Terps' football game vs. Florida State on Saturday, Oct. 28. Earlier in the day, the women held an open practice for fans at Comcast Center.

The Terrapins received a loud cheer from fans at Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium Saturday evening after a short highlight film. The team was introduced to excited Maryland fans who were in attendance for the football game.

Fans got a sneak peak at the women's basketball team at Comcast Center, prior to the men's basketball team's open scrimmage. The women ran through drills and teaching sessions before closing the practice with a scrimmage against the scout team.
