Changes in Terrapin Radio Network Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - November brings an exciting time for all college athletics fans, as football and basketball seasons coincide. At the University of Maryland, given the popularity of both the football and basketball programs, special arrangements have been made for fans to enjoy all their favorite Maryland sports on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network.
Scheduling of the Ralph Friedgen Radio Show will be moved to a special time based on the upcoming set of men's basketball games to be held at Comcast Center.
On November 2 and 9, the Ralph Friedgen Radio Show will move to Thursday Night editions. On Nov. 2, the first 50 fans to arrive at the live broadcast of the show from the Outback Steakhouse on Georgia Avenue in Aspen Hill will receive Blackout T-shirts that were given away in the student section of Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium when the Terps scored their football win over Florida State.
The Friedgen Show will air at its normal 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. time slot on November 2 and November 9.
The Maryland men's basketball season also begins in early November with a slate of games. The first exhibition game for the Terps, on Wednesday, Nov. 1 against California University of Pennsylvania, will tip off at 8 p.m. that night and will be carried on the entire Terrapin Sports Radio Network.
On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Maryland's second-round game in the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic will begin at 7 p.m. against an opponent to be determined. That game will also be aired on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network, with Hall of Fame broadcaster Johnny Holliday handling the play-by-play.
All Terrapin Sports Radio Network broadcasts are available on www.umterps.com as part of the Maryland All-Access package.
