COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland men's lacrosse coach Dave Cottle announced four events for the 2006 fall semester today.

The Terps kick off their "Fall Ball" season this Friday, October 6, with the Red-White game. The inter-squad even is set for a 4:30 p.m. start on the field turf portion of the football practice field.

In the marquee event of this fall for Maryland, the Terrapins will host Notre Dame on October 13 in a 7:00 p.m. game at the Field Hockey/Lacrosse Complex.

The 2006 Awards Banquet will take place on Sunday, October 15, at the Comcast Center's Nextel Heritage Hall. For more information on the awards banquet, contact Dave Slafkosky at 301-314-7115 or via e-mail at daveslaf@umd.edu.

The fall season will conclude on Friday, October 20, with the annual alumni game. The event is slated for a 7:00 p.m. at the University of Maryland Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex. All interested players should call 301-314-7117 so that jerseys can be available for the alumni team.
