COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Fans' first look at the reigning NCAA Champion Maryland women's basketball team will be a day earlier than originally scheduled. The Terps host their only preseason exhibition game against LTL All-Stars on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.
Maryland, which is coming off their first national championship season and returns all five starters, has also moved the game times for both days of the Terrapin Classic. The first game on both evenings will tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the late game at 8 p.m.
The Terps' contest at Temple on Sunday, Dec. 10 has been scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip off.
The annual ACC Tournament also announced game-time changes. The 11 a.m. game on Thursday, March 1 will now feature the #5 versus #12 seed, followed by the #8 versus #9 seeded teams at approximately 3 p.m. Both games of the first round have been picked up by the Regional Sports Network. The rest of the first round will be the #7 seed versus the #10 seed at 6 p.m., with the #6 and #11 seeds battling it out in the last game of the evening at 8 p.m.
In the quarterfinal matchup, the winners of game one of the first round will play the fourth seed at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 2, followed by the winners of game two taking on the No. 1 seed at 3 p.m. The second and third seeds play the winners of game three and four, respectively, at 6 and 8 p.m. Every game of the quarterfinals can be watched on the ACC's Regional Sports Network.
The semifinals take place at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, with the championship game tipping off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 4. All three games of the weekend will be televised nationally on the Fox Sports Network.
