COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Fourth-ranked Maryland faces its third-consecutive ranked opponent when it hosts No. 18/20 Boston College on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. The Terps are looking for the regular-season sweep over the Eagles who are making their first-ever trip to College Park.

Maryland (22-3, 9-2 ACC) will attempt to pick up its fifth victory of the season over a ranked opponent when the Eagles make their first-ever trip to Comcast Center. BC will have a big challenge on their hands as the Terps are 12-1 this season on their home floor and 37-7 (88.1 percent) over the last two seasons.

The Terps are coming off a rare feat where they faced back-to-back No. 1 teams. Maryland started its stretch of playing three ranked opponents by beating then-No. 1 North Carolina, 98-95, in overtime in Chapel Hill, N.C., on Feb. 9. They traveled back down to the triangle area four days later to face another No. 1 team in Duke, but fell, 90-80, in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The team has played in seven games so far this season against a ranked opponent.

In the first ever meeting between the teams on Jan. 5, Maryland defeated BC, 67-64, in overtime in both teams' ACC opener. Sophomore Crystal Langhorne (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) led all players with 24 points and 13 rebounds.

Boston College (19-6) is on a roll heading into Thursday's game. After dropping its first four ACC games, BC has won its last six to improve to 6-4 in league play and sits in a tie for fourth place in the ACC standings.

Tickets are still available at the Comcast Center Ticket office. They can be purchased online at www.umterps.com or by calling the ticket office at 1-800-IMA-TERP.
