COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland wrestling team will try to lock up the ACC regular season title Friday night on the road at Virginia. Maryland has not won an ACC regular season title since 1973.
The Terps (7-9, 4-0 ACC) have already wrapped up a share of the title, and would win it out-right with a win over the 'Hoos. Virginia is 3-1 in the conference and would share the title with Maryland if it knocks off the Terps.
Four Terps are 4-0 in conference action: Brendan Byrne (133), Adam James (157), Adam DeCosmo (165) and Jerry Afari (197).
