Maryland Head Coach Brenda Frese

On the game:
"It was a tremendous 40 minutes, and I thought it was by far our most complete game this season. We were disappointed with the outcome of our last game [against Duke], but we really challenged this team to have a better defensive game and to rebound better in the future. That's what I really love about this team, that when you challenge them they respond, and it's just so much fun to coach when they take the challenges to heart. I also thought we did a tremendous job at being unselfish on the offensive end, and we got them frustrated early coming out with our press and being aggressive."

On the tough conference games in the past week:
"I think we gained a lot of confidence in the last week. We now know we can play with anyone on any given night. Even in the Duke game I thought we had a real good chance. Unfortunately they just wore us out and have incredible depth. Regardless, it was great to see us come back today and play with so much confidence."

On the crowd:
"I thought it was a tremendous crowd especially for a Thursday night. We all commented at the beginning of the game how big the crowd was, and how nice it was to see all of those people supporting us. It really helped to bring more energy to our game. They were loud and energetic, which is what we love. I think if we can get these fans out here once, they will keep coming because we have a ton of girls that are great role models that are fun to watch."

On Boston College:
"I was worried after watching film on Boston College coming into this game. They are usually a team that doesn't make mistakes. They have a lot of talent, and we took them into overtime when we went up there earlier in the season, and I thought they'd be coming in today for revenge after a seven game winning streak. But we're playing with a lot of confidence and moving the ball and being unselfish. I think if we continue like this, great things will happen."

Junior Guard Shay Doron

On her play tonight after the loss to Duke:
"We came out here tonight to get better. It wasn't about the Duke game, and it's not ever just about the Duke game as much as people like to think it is. For us, it's a lot bigger than that, and tonight we just wanted to make sure we were getting better so that when we do face a tough team like Duke again, which we most likely will, we will really be prepared for them."

On her shot tonight:
"My shot felt good, and it seemed like a lot of them were going in. It's nice to have the ball and know my teammates trust me and are that unselfish. In this game, it's a lot about rhythm, and luckily if I'm having a rough night, or other teams start to cover me more, we have other players that will step up and have a great game. We are really a tough team to stop."

Freshman Guard/Forward Marissa Coleman

On Maryland's goal for the night:
"We knew we wanted to come out here and make a statement. Last week gave us a lot of confidence so we just wanted to come out here tonight and play hard with that confidence."

On her rebounding this game compared to previous games:
"I try every game to get a lot of rebounds, because that's one of the team's main goals. So going into this game I didn't approach it any differently, I just did it a little better."

Sophomore Forward/Center Crystal Langhorne

On the game:
"I think our rebounding helped us score 80 plus points in the game. We had a lot of second chances."

On her free throw shooting this year:
"I'm playing with a different mindset when I'm at the line this year. I'm focusing more up there. Also, I've definitely been practicing them a lot in order to make more of them this year."

Boston College Head Coach Cathy Inglese

On today's loss:
"We just got out of rhythm from the start. I knew coming into this game with Maryland that they have so many scorers. We couldn't try to stop everything; they just got into a rhythm. A team like Maryland is hard to stop. They have confidence and we got into foul trouble. We were disappointed that we didn't stick to what we came here to do."

On Maryland's game improvement:
"Maryland is playing better. Laura Harper is back and playing well and Kristi Tolliver has gotten back into her groove. Maryland gained confidence off of the UNC game. They are taking some really good shots and getting the ball inside. Give them credit for how they play."
