COLLEGE PARK, Md. - With the regular season winding down, the fourth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team has two more home games remaining, beginning with the ACC regular-season finale against Clemson on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.

Boasting a 24-3 record (.889) and an 11-2 mark (.846) in conference play, the Terps are looking to post their best record since 1988-89 and the most wins since 1991-92. In 1989, Maryland finished the season winning 92.9 percent of its conference games with a 13-1 record. In 1992, the Terps tied a school record, winning 13 conference games (out of 16).

A couple of Terrapins will be looking to reach some milestones in Thursday's game. Sophomore Crystal Langhorne (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) is looking to become the 22nd player in school history to score 1,000-career points. Needing just six points to reach 1,000, Langhorne could break teammate Shay Doron's (Great Neck, N.Y./Christ the King) record of fastest Terrapin to reach the milestone in school history. It took Doron 64 games to get to 1,000 points, while Langhorne will be playing in her 60th-career game.

Doron is looking to set the all-time career free throws made record on Thursday night. At NC State, she tied Deedee Warley's (1999-02) mark, sinking her 386th free throw. Doron has broken the single-season record in each of her first two seasons.

Clemson (8-18, 2-10 ACC) leads the all-time series, 32-24, but the Terps have won the last four meetings, including a 65-55 decision in the first round of the 2005 ACC Tournament. The Tigers, who have two more conference games remaining on the schedule, including Thursday's matchup with the Terps, are looking to finish the season strong as they stand in a tie for 11th place in the ACC, but just one game out of ninth.
