GREENSBORO, N.C. - After helping the fourth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team to the championship game of the ACC Tournament, three Terrapins were selected to the all-tournament team. Freshman Marissa Coleman and sophomore Crystal Langhorne were voted to the first team, while sophomore Jade Perry was named to the second team. It is the most all-tournament selections since 1993.

Appearing in her first-career ACC Tournament, the 2006 ACC Rookie of the Year played like a veteran. Coleman (Cheltenham, Md./St. John's College [D.C.]) averaged 14.3 points and 8.0 rebounds over the three games. In the win over No. 2 Duke, she posted her seventh double-double of the season, tallying 16 points and 13 rebounds then followed up with 14 points and eight rebounds in the championship against North Carolina.

Langhorne (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) repeats as a first team all-tournament selection. She continues to be dominant in the post, averaging 15 points and eight rebounds a game. In the first-round win over Georgia Tech, she had 20 points and seven rebounds. She had her 32nd-career double-double, netting 13 points and 10 rebounds in the semifinal win over the Blue Devils then had 12 points and grabbed seven boards in the championship. Langhorne, who is a first team All-ACC honoree, shot 62.5 percent for the tournament.

Perry (Central City, Ky./Muhlenberg North) earns her first-career all-conference nod. She ended this season's tournament with 18 points off the bench to lead the Terps in scoring against North Carolina. She was also 7-for-8 from the floor. On the previous night vs. Duke, she had a perfect outing, going 3-for-3 for six points and her post presence was a key factor in the Terps' success in the tournament.

Maryland fell to No.1 North Carolina, 91-80, in the championship game. The Terps had been playing in their first conference finals since 1993.

Boasting a 28-4 record, the Terps await their destination in the NCAA Tournament. The selection show, which will reveal the 64-team field, will be held on Monday, March 13 at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
