Catch the Football Terps on TV in Coming Days

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland football team is wrapping up its first week of fall camp and will hold a scrimmage at Byrd Stadium on Saturday night. The Terrapins will not only see action on the field over the weekend, but also on television as a number of features are slated to run in the coming days.

Lincoln Financial Sports (formerly JP Sports) has put together its annual 2006 ACC Preview and the Maryland versions of the show will air on the following dates on Comcast SportsNet:

  • Sunday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday, August 14th at 9:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 20th at 8:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 24 at 11:00 p.m.

    In addition, WTTG Fox 5 is coming out to Saturday's scrimmage and is scheduled to do a live hit with head coach Ralph Friedgen from Byrd Stadium at approximately 5:20 p.m.

    One other show fans can tune into this Saturday is ESPN GameDay with Mel Kiper as Kiper will do his annual ACC preview. Check local listings for times and stations in your listening area.
