COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The NCAA Champion Maryland women's basketball team has added another television game, increasing the total number of televised contests to nine during the regular season. The home matchup vs. traditional ACC rival Virginia has been moved to Friday, Jan. 19 and will be televised on the ACC's Regional Sports Network (Comcast SportsNet in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area).
The game vs. the Cavaliers, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 18, is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip-off on Jan. 19.
The Terps have nine total regular-season matchups slated, including five on national television. Maryland will have two games on Fox Sports Net (Comcast SportsNet in the Baltimore/Washington area) and two games on ESPN2. Its non-conference clash on Jan. 6 vs. Big Ten powerhouse Michigan State will be on CBS.
The ACC Tournament will, once again, be televised. The quarterfinal round on Friday, March 2 will be broadcast regionally, while the semifinal and finals will air nationally on Fox Sports Net. All NCAA Tournament games will also be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
