Terps Open Season at Great Meadows Invitational

The Plains, Va. - The University of Maryland men's cross country team posted a 1-5 split time of 51:13 and placed third at the 6K course at the Great Meadows Invitational yesterday.
The top three Terp finishers placed tenth, 11th and 12th, with Ben Deistel running a 22:16:97, Greg Kelsey finishing in 22:34:62 and Josh Davis posting a time of 22:46:93.
Richie Booth (22:50:16) and Peter Hess (23:08:10) placed 14th and 17th respectively.
The Terps return to action on September 23rd at the Spiked Shoe Invitational in State College, Pa.
