Greensboro, N.C. - Meghan Braffet was named ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week yesterday.

The redshirt junior from Carlock, Ill. placed third at the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational finishing the 6K race in 21:17:05. She led the Terrapin women to a third place finish out of 25 teams.

On the men's side, Virginia's Jan Foerster was tabbed with the honor. The junior helped the Cavaliers to a third place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn. this past weekend.

Braffet will look to lead the Terps to another top finish this weekend at the Tribe Invitational in Williamsburg, Va.
