Terps Sell Out Comcast for Duke & UNC Games
• For only the second and third times in the history of the program, Maryland athletic department has announced a sell out of Terps' women's basketball games. Both of the Terps' contests vs. No. 2 North Carolina on Jan. 28 and vs. No. 3 Duke on Feb. 18 are SOLD OUT. The game against UNC will mark the first-ever women's basketball sell out in Comcast Center, which boasts a capacity crowd of 17,950, and will be the largest crowd to ever attend an ACC women's basketball game.
• Maryland owns the top four attendance marks in ACC history, including the current record of 17,243 set on Feb. 13, 2005 when it hosted the Blue Devils. The Terps also drew more than 16,000 fans to last year's matchup against Duke, the second-largest women's basketball crowd in conference history.
• The Terps have owned the top women's basketball attendance record for 14 years. It first set the all-time record in 1992 when a sellout crowd of 14,500 crammed Cole Field House to watch No. 1 Maryland take on No. 2 Virginia. That record stood until 2005.

• An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the award was launched during the 2001-02 season to honor the attributes of college basketball seniors who remain committed to their university and pursue the many rewards that a senior season can bring.

Doron 2nd Among All-Time Terp Scorers
• Senior Shay Doron's impact on the Maryland women's basketball program is stamped all over the record books. • Doron's 10 points against the Wolfpack moved her into second place in scoring at Maryland all-time, trailing only Terrapin great Vicky Bullett who set the school's scoring record, netting 1,928 point from 1986-89.
• As she move up the charts, she past some great Terrapins, including Christy Winters (1985-90, 1,679), Marcia Richardson (1979-84, 1,630), Jessie Hicks (1990-93, 1,601) and Deanna Tate (1986-89, 1,541), to name a few, and all ranked in the top five on the Maryland scoring list.

A Little Help From friends
