GREENSBORO, N.C. -
Game time for the University of Maryland's home football game versus Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 20 has been set for 8 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Coast Conference office announced Saturday evening.
The matchup from Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium will be telecast nationally on ESPN2.
ESPN/ABC chose to execute a six-day window to decide on the kickoff time.
The Terrapins (4-2, 1-1 ACC) were off this week, while the Cavaliers (6-1, 3-0) defeated Connecticut, 17-16, Saturday afternoon.
Maryland owns a 41-28-2 record in the all-time series with Virginia and has captured the last two meetings, including last season's thriller. The Terps edged the Cavaliers, 28-26, in Charlottesville, Va., after overcoming a 20-0 halftime deficit.
Saturday's game will serve as the Terps' annual Homecoming contest.
