Terp Women Meet with Media at Annual Media Day

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - With the basketball season just around the corner, the 2007-08 Maryland women's basketball team held their annual Media Day on Monday afternoon where local television and print media attended to conduct the first interviews of the season.
Head coach Brenda Frese, who enters her sixth season at the helm, kicked off the afternoon with a press conference in Sprint Heritage Hall in Comcast Center. After taking questions from members of the media, the event moved to the arena floor for a quick team photo and class pictures. The day concluded after one-on-one interviews with the players and coaches.
USA Basketball also announced its official College Tour roster, which begins in College Park on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. tip.
