Terps & LSU Clash in Preseason WNIT Title Game
• After a dominating win over No. 23/25 Notre Dame in the semifinals, third-ranked Maryland advanced to the Preseason WNIT championship game, where it faces fourth-ranked LSU at Comcast Center on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. The Terrapins are looking to capture their first-ever Preseason WNIT crown.
• The Terrapins enter the game with a 4-0 record, while LSU is 3-0. It is the first road game of the season for the Tigers, while the Terps are facing their third ranked opponent of the season.
• The only place to watch the top-five battle is on the internet on ACC Select at www.accselect.com. Audio can be heard on Maryland All-Access at www.umterps.com. Matt Noble and former Terrapin star Vicki Brick will call all the action.

About the Terps
• Maryland is 4-0 for the third-straight year, after advacing to the Preseason WNIT championship game with a win over No. 23/25 Notre Dame. The Terrapins go into the title game having already defeated two ranked teams this season.
• In its four games, Maryland has had eight double-doubles, with at least one player achieving the feat in every game. Junior Kristi Toliver had double-doubles in the first three games of the season and is nearly averaging a double-doubles with team highs of 19.0 points and 9.5 assists per game.
• Senior Jade Perry is leading the team with 9.5 rebounds, contributing 8.5 points per game.
• Three Terrapins are averaging double figures and four are grabbing at least 5.0 boards a game, outrebounding their opponents by 16.0 margin.

About the Tigers
• Third-ranked LSU advanced to the Preseason WNIT championship game after defeating Samford (86-38), TCU (73-54) and #17/18 Michigan State in the semifinals (64-41). When the Tigers visit Comcast Center on Sunday, it will be their first road game of the season.
• Senior guard Quianna Chaney currently leads the team with 17.7 points per game, while All-American Sylvia Fowles is contributing 17.0 ppg and a team-high 7.3 rebounds per game. Averaging 74.3 ppg, LSU has outscored its opponents by 30 points in its four games, limiting them to 44.3 ppg and 31.7 percent shooting.
• LSU returns its five starters from last year's squad who made a fourth-straight trip to the NCAA Final Four and went 30-8.
• Fowles was a first team All-SEC and an All-American, while Chaney was a second-team all-conference pick.
• The Tigers are led by hall of fame coach Van Chancellor, who is in his first year with the team.
• SERIES HISTORY: LSU leads the all-time series, 3-1. The last meeting between the teams was in Nov. 2004, when Crystal Langhorne, Laura Harper, Jade Perry and Ashleigh Newman were freshmen. Harper had recorded her second-career double-double, leading the team with 17 points and 16 rebounds in the loss to the Tigers at the Coors Classic in Boulder, Colo.

Terps in the Preseason WNIT
• Maryland is making its second-ever appearance in the Preseason WNIT, playing in the inaugural tournament in 1994. That year, the Terrapins lost to Virginia Tech, 68-53, in the first round.

Double-Trouble
• In only four games, the Terps have recorded eight double-doubles and at least one in every game.
• Junior Kristi Toliver had double-doubles in the first three-games of the season, reaching double figures in points and assists.
Jade Perry and Laura Harper have each had double-doubles twice so far this season, reaching double digits in points and rebounds.

World's Largest Baby Shower
• To help celebrate head coach Brenda Frese's pregnancy, Maryland fans are invited to attend the world's largest baby shower on Friday, Nov. 30 when the Terps take on Ohio State in the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
• Fans are encouraged to bring a new and unused toy to the game. All donations will go to the Washington, D.C., chapter of Toys for Tots.

Coming Up
• Maryland battles intera-state rival Loyola at Comcast Center on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. It will be the Greyhounds' first trip back to Comcast Center since 2004. The Terps traveled to Baltimore last year for the first time since 2000.
