The Terps' 51 first-half points were the most in any half this year and the most in a half since they scored 53 in the second half of last year's home victory against Virginia on Jan. 19.
The 48-point victory over the Greyhounds tied the largest margin of victory this season. Maryland also beat Delaware by 48 this season, 91-43.
Redshirt freshman Emery Wallace made the first field goal of her Maryland career with 3:02 left in the first half. Wallace finished with a career-high 18 points, including three second-half three-pointers.
Wallace, whose previous career high was two points, led the Terps in scoring with 18 points. She is the third different player to lead the team in scoring this year.
The Terps tied the school record for made three-pointers in a game with 12. The Terps also made 12 threes against Notre Dame this season.
Maryland freshman Kat Lyons also recorded the first field goal of her career in the first half, a three-pointer from the corner at the 7:12 mark. Lyons added a second three-pointer in the second half.
Freshman Drey Mingo scored a career-high 16 points for the Terps, her first career double-digit game. Mingo was 7-for-12 from the field.
In total, three Maryland players set career highs in points: Wallace (18), Mingo (16) and Lyons (6).
Freshman Marah Strickland scored in double figures for the second straight game, finishing with 12 after scoring 11 Sunday against LSU.
Maryland now leads the all-time series with Loyola 14-3, including the last eight wins in the series.
Maryland senior Crystal Langhorne missed her fifth game of the season with an ankle sprain.
