Terps Face Rutgers at the Jimmy V Classic
• The third-ranked Terrapins travel to #5/6 Rutgers for the Jimmy V Classic on Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2. Doris Burke and Dave O'Brien will be calling all the action, and Rebecca Lobo will be on the sidelines.
• Maryland became the first team in the nation to win 10 games after defeating #19/17 Ohio State in the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Four of Maryland's victories have come against ranked teams.
• Monday's meeting will be the first between Maryland and Rutgers since 1998. The Terps lead the all-time series, 18-10.

About the Terps
• Maryland is the first team in the nation to win 10 games, starting the season at 10-0 for the second-straight year. Four of the Terrapins' wins have been over ranked teams.
• Maryland has had at least one player with a double-double in eight of its 10 games, posting 12 double-doubles overall. Seniors Laura Harper and Jade Perry, and junior Kristi Toliver have each posted three so far this season. Junior Marissa Coleman has recorded two. Making a return to the starting lineup against UCLA, Crystal Langhorne had her first double-double of the season in the win over Pittsburgh.
• Leading the way offensively for the Terrapins is junior Kristi Toliver, who is averaging a team-best 18.4 points and 8.1 assists per game. Five Terps, in all, are averaging double-digit scoring.
• Harper averages a team-high 8.1 rebounds per game, while Coleman is close behind with 7.7 rpg. The two have combined to lead the team in rebounding six times.
• Maryland has been lethal from three-point range, twice tying the school record for threes in a game. The Terps knocked down 12 treys in the wins over Notre Dame and Loyola, while shooting 46.7 percent from that range in the 10 games. Their 46.7 percent shooting from that range is tops in the ACC.
• The nation's leader in rebounding margin the last two years, Maryland has outrebounding its opponents by +12.2 rpg.

About the Scarlet Knights
• After losing the season opener to #6/5 Stanford, Rutgers has won its last four games and is ranked fifth by the Associated Press and sixth in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches released Nov. 26.
• The Scarlet Knights have beaten two ranked opponents (#16/14 George Washington and #8/7 LSU) and are coming off a 56-50 win over St. Joe's. Epiphanny Prince leads the way for Rutgers, averaging 12.2 points per game. The team is only averaging 57.6 points scored per game, but is limiting opponents to 47.6 ppg.
• Rutgers returns its five starters from the team that advanced to the NCAA finals last year. Among the returnees are three Wade Trophy and Wooden Award preseason candidates Matee Ajavon, Essence Carson and Kia Vaughn.
• The Scarlet Knights are mentored by C. Vivian Stringer, who is in her 13th season at the helm.
• SERIES HISTORY: Maryland leads the all-time series, 18-10, but have not played since 1998. The series dates back to 1974.

November to Remember
• This November has been a record-breaking month for the Terrapins. Maryland's 10 games are the most for the month of November in the history of the program. Its 10 wins to date are the most wins Maryland has recorded during the month, as well.

Taking on All Comers
• Maryland boasts one of the toughest schedules in the country. This season, the Terps face opponents from 12 different conferences, including three from the Big East (Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Rutgers). They also face teams from other power conferences such as the Big 12 (Oklahoma), Big Ten (Ohio State) and Pac 10 (UCLA).
• Some of the other tough opponents taking on the Terps hail from the Atlantic 10 (Temple, Richmond), Colonial Athletic Association (James Madison, Delaware) Sun Belt (Middle Tennessee State), Big West (UCSB), Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (Loyola), America East (UMBC), Missouri Valley (Northern Iowa) and Ivy League (Princeton).
