COLLEGE PARK, Md.- The University of Maryland women's water polo team defeated CWPA opponent Bucknell Friday night at the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium. The teams traded goals until the Terrapins shot ahead in the third quarter, scoring four straight.
Elizabeth Hopkins led Maryland scorers with three goals, including two to start off the third-quarter rally. Christen Vagts and Blaise Stanicic each added two to the offensive effort, and Rachel Jordan and Shannon Simerly rounded out the Terps' scoring.
