The Terps began on balance beam and notched a 48.50 event total. Freshman Talia Tossone (Virginia Beach, Va.) turned in the team's top score of a 9.750. Sidelined with a wrist injury all season, sophomore Kim Loew (Allentown, Pa.) stepped in and nailed her only routine of the season to score a 9.725.
