COLLEGE PARK, Md.- The University of Maryland women's water polo team fell 11-6 to the Princeton Tigers Saturday afternoon at the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium in CWPA play.
The game marks the fourth Princeton victory over the Terrapins this season. Maryland's record now stands at 13-16 overall, 4-2 in CWPA play.
Sophomore Blaise Stanicic scored a hat trick for the Terps, but the Maryland defense could not hold Princeton's attack. The Tigers received scoring from six different players, including three goals from freshman Phoebe Champion.
Rachel Jordan, Shannon Simerly, and Laurel Laidlaw also found the back of the net for the Terps.
Maryland will host the CWPA Southern Division Championships on April 21 in College Park.
