COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Due to the threat of inclement weather, this weekend's baseball series between the Maryland Terrapins and the Boston College Eagles has had schedule changes.

The teams will play a doubleheader Friday, beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday's televised game remains at 1 p.m., as fans can watch on the regional sports network.

All three games will be covered live by WMUC Sports.

SERIES HISTORY

Maryland trails in the all-time series, 2-3 (.400) Last season,the Terps won the series opener, 11-10, before dropping the final two games in Chestnut Hill, 9-4 and 6-3. The series last year was the teams' first matchup with BC being a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Prior to that, the teams last met on April 12, 1939, a 14-10 Eagles win. That year the Terps, who were then a member of the Southern Conference, finished 14-5 overall.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES

Boston College is 10-20-1, and 4-11 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Johnny Ayers is the top Eagles hitter, batting .346 with three triples and 16 RBIs.
