Ty Kaunas hit his fifth-career homer as Maryland wrapped up its weekend in East Lansing.
Sunday's game got away from Maryland in the early innings. Kaunas recorded two of Maryland's four hits on Sunday, including his fifth-career homer in the fifth inning. David Mendez extended his hitting streak to 18 games with a double in the loss. Brayden Martin also extended his on-base streak to 74 games with a walk in the sixth inning.
