COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Tickets for the 2007 Maryland men's soccer season are now on sale. The Terrapins will play 12 matches this season at Ludwig Field, one of the most exciting venues for collegiate soccer in the country. Single game tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for youths and seniors while season tickets, which include all home games for both the men and women, are $69 for adults and $39 for youths and seniors.

Maryland, which went 13-2-0 at Ludwig in 2006, opens its home schedule on Friday, September 7 against West Virginia at 8:00 p.m. The Mountaineers finished the year ranked No. 18 in 2006 as they turned in their best season in school history and captured the regular season BIG EAST title.

Other non-conference matches include national powers such as George Mason, Old Dominion, and Lehigh while ACC foes Clemson, Virginia Tech, NC State, and Virginia will all visit College Park.

Last season, the Terps set a school record in attendance with over 40,000 people coming to Ludwig field. The season total ranked second in the NCAA, and the Terps average attendance of 2,727 ranked third in the country. Highlighting the home season in 2006 was a record crowd of 6,489 to see Maryland play Duke. In addition, two more home dates in 2006 rank in the top five all-time at Ludwig Field. A crowd of 6,214 came out to watch Boston College in their first ever match in College Park which ranks second and NC State drew 4,565 which is fifth.
