
No. 9 Men's Soccer Gears Up For University of Montreal on Wednesday Afternoon

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 9 Maryland men's soccer team will play its second game of the preseason on Wednesday, August 22 at 4:00 p.m. at the Varsity Practice Field. This time, the Terrapins will host the University of Montreal in an international friendly after defeating Fairleigh Dickinson, 3-0, on Saturday night in the preseason opener.
In the win against the Knights, preseason College Soccer News All-American and Hermann Trophy nominee Stephen King scored twice to lead the Terps to the victory. Sophomore Drew Yates added the other goal for Maryland while junior Graham Zusi was credited with a pair of assists. Sophomore Jeremy Hall and freshman Rodney Wallace also recorded assists for the Terps.
The match against Montreal is the first of two exhibitions this week for Maryland which also hosts VCU on Friday, August 24. That game is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Ludwig Field.
