PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Game time for the University of Maryland's football game against Rutgers University has been set. The Terps and Scarlet Knights will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday from Rutgers Stadium in Piscataway, N.J., and air on ABC to a regional audience, the BIG EAST conference announced Sunday.
ABC chose to execute a six-day window to decide on the kickoff time.
The Terps (2-2, 0-1 ACC) haven't faced the Scarlet Knights since 1942. Rutgers is currently 3-0 and ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press poll.
Maryland's first five games of the season are on the ESPN/ABC family of outlets. The first two games were shown on ESPN 360, the Sept. 13 contest vs. No. 4 West Virginia went to a national audience on ESPN and the Wake Forest matchup was on ESPNU.
Other Maryland game times will be announced at a later date. After the first three weeks of the season, ACC home games are selected on a 12-day option by ESPN/ABC or Lincoln Financial Sports/Raycom. Four times during the season, ESPN/ABC can choose certain ACC games on a six-day window.
