COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland women's basketball fans will have one more thing to look forward to in 2007-08. In preparation for the upcoming season, the Terps will host the U.S. Women's National Team on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. General admission tickets for the game are on sale now at the Terrapin Ticket Office located at Comcast Center.
"Playing the U.S. National Team will be a real treat for all of us," said Maryland head coach Brenda Frese. "I know some of our players have looked at some of the USA Basketball players as role models while growing up. To step on the court and compete against them will be awesome.
