COLLEGE PARK, Md. - For the fourth year in a row, Maryland women's basketball fans will get an up-close look at the Terrapins in the fourth season of Under the Shell which premiers this week on CSTV on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Fans in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area can also watch the show on Comcast SportsNet on Saturdays at 10 a.m.
"This season, in particular, will be special," said head coach Brenda Frese. "We have incredible seniors who have lifted this program to new heights. To go through their final season and accomplish so many great things and for fans to go through that with us is what this show is all about. And obviously, to go through my pregnancy with this team will be a special treat for fans, as well. We are all looking forward to another great season of Under the Shell."
Maryland fans can watch when Frese reveals to the team she was pregnant with twins, as well as, go on road trips with the Terrapins and watch as the cameras capture another fun holiday party. Watch the players reactions and highlights of some of the biggest wins of the year, including No. 6 Oklahoma, No. 4 LSU and No. 10 Duke.
"We have to recognize Jess Atkinson (producer) and his staff for another wonderful job and for putting in the time and effort to be with us and to capture all of the special moments of the season," Frese continued. "They do a great job of showing fans what Maryland women's basketball is really about."
The reality-based, 13-episode series began during the 2004-05 season and was the first of its kind when it launched. It was the first reality-based series on a women's basketball team to air nationally. Under the Shell is produced in association with Atkinson and Company and the University of Maryland Athletics Department. Check local listing for channel listings.
