Five former Maryland football players will participate in postseason all-star games over the next month.
Tight end Joey Haynos and running back Keon Lattimore will suit up in Saturday's Cornerstone Hula Bowl in Honolulu (6 p.m. ET/Versus), with offensive guard Andrew Crummey slated to participate in the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday, January 19 at Robertson Stadium in Houston (7 p.m. ET/ESPN2).
Defensive tackle Dre Moore will take part in the Under Armour Senior Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 26 (4 p.m. ET/NFL Network) in Mobile, Ala., and defensive back J.J. Justice will play in the Texas vs. the Nation game on Saturday, February 2 in El Paso, Texas (5 p.m. ET/CSTV).
Haynos was one of the top tight ends in the ACC over the last two seasons. He ranked second on the team in receptions (30) this season and was on the preseason watch list for the Mackey Award, honoring the top tight end in the nation.
Lattimore ended his career 14th on the Terps career rushing yards list (1,744) and was an honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference pick in 2007 after posting a team-best 805 rushing yards.
Despite missing five games with a fractured fibula, Crummey earned third team All-America honors from the Associated Press and second-team accolades from The Sporting News this past season.
Moore was a 2007 first team All-ACC performer after posting 63 tackles, including a team-high six sacks. He also intercepted a pass and had two forced fumbles.
Justice was the Terps' fourth-leading tackler in 2007 with 73 stops, including a career-high 13 in his final game, the Emerald Bowl. He also chipped in five pass breakups and two forced fumbles.

Novak to Kick for Kansas City: Former Maryland place-kicker Nick Novak, who has spent time with Arizona, Washington and Chicago during his three-year pro career, recently signed a free-agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
