Comcast Center will come alive on Friday night as its seventh season kicks off with Maryland Madness. The annual event will provide fans with an opportunty to see their favorite Maryland women's basketball players, as well as a chance to meet some new stars as the women's team joins the men's for the night's festivities.
Comcast SportsNet will broadcast live from Comcast Center with coverage of all the action from 9 to 10 p.m. on Friday night.

Free tickets for Maryland Madness are still available and can be picked up on Friday at the Terrapin Ticket Office. Reservations can be made by calling the Terrapin Ticket Office at 1-800-IM-A-TERP.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. The action on court begins at 7:20 with a Gary Willliams Look-Alike Contest. A men's basketball alumni game is scheduled for 7:50 p.m., with various dance and gymnastics performances following. Introductions for the women's and men's teams are scheduled to begin around 9 p.m.
