COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
Head Coach Brenda Frese announced Monday that she would be hosting the Seventh Annual Coaches Clinic at the Comcast Center on Saturday, November 1. Basketball coaches and their staffs are invited to attend the informative and unique event.
This year's Coaches Clinic features two guest speakers - head coach Bill Wolf (Central Dauphin HS) and head coach Felicia Oliver (University HS) - both of whom are extraordinary high school coaches who have led their teams to championships and who have coached some of the nation's top players. They will be speaking about their unique coaching philosophies and success with building championship teams and how they prepare their student-athletes for the next level.
The clinic will also feature one-on-one breakout sessions where attendees can
connect with Maryland coaches and focus on various topics of interest. During the breakout sessions, coaches will have the opportunity to sit down with Frese and learn the ins and outs of running a nationally ranked program.
The clinic is designed to cater to coaches at all levels. Frese and her staff have put together a program which they feel will provide valuable information and lead to a competitive advantage both on and off the court.
The cost for a single coach is $50. For a staff of three, the fee is $120, and a staff of four can attend for just $150.
